If Newt wants to do this forever, I think it’s a terrible idea, as it will not necessarily boost demand, which is needed to get us out of recession. If he wanted a one or two year moratorium on personal income taxes, I’d say yes, in order to improve spending power, but I still don’t want him elected. We don’t need him in office to make changes in the tax code.
